Welcome to Grassfields, a culinary gem located at 878 Lexington St, Waltham, MA. This charming eatery is where comfort food meets exquisite taste, offering diners a warm ambiance perfect for any occasion—from a casual lunch to a special celebration.

At Grassfields, every meal is an experience. Diners rave about the panko encrusted chicken breast that Rolando D. described as “extremely tasty,” served with a sumptuous hollandaise sauce, baked potato, and asparagus. It’s this attention to detail in every dish that sets Grassfields apart.

For those seeking comfort, J highlights the artichoke dip that is perfectly creamy and pairs well with succulent steak and scallops. Their brownie sundae provides the ideal sweet finish, making it a meal worth remembering. The enthusiastic service from staff, like the delightful Trinity, enhances the experience even further.

Grassfields is also an excellent venue for gatherings, as Ann Dailey noted during a high school reunion. The accommodating management and fabulous service create a memorable atmosphere that resonates with guests.

Tom F. found the crab pie to be a standout dish—moist and buttery, complemented by a delightful breaded topping. While he noted a lack of seasoning in the sirloin, the perfectly cooked steak is just a sprinkle away from greatness. The arancini appetizer was a highlight, delivering rich flavors and a gooey texture that captures the essence of indulgence.

Even takeout here, as Ginger Cheng experienced with the Norwegian organic salmon, impresses with tenderness and taste, proving that Grassfields excels in both dining in and enjoying a meal at home.

In conclusion, Grassfields is more than just a restaurant; it’s a place where food and community come together. Whether you're enjoying a quiet dinner or celebrating with friends, the flavors and warmth of Grassfields will leave a lasting impression on your palate and in your heart.

This was the perfect lunch on a rough day! The artichoke dip creamy. The steak and scallops were succulent. The brownie Sunday was the perfect warm sweetness. To top of me experience, my server Trinity was helpful, informative, and a hoot. Maybe a hoot and a half!

A quick drive from the nearby Westin, this is a lovely low key spot if you’re looking for a nice sit down spot. The crab pie was moist and buttery, with a lovely breaded top that mixed well with the meat. The leftover oils made excellent dipping sauce for the steak. The sirloin was definitely lacking in flavor, but was cooked perfectly. A little salt and pepper and you’ll be right as rain. The arancini appetizer was the perfect thing to whet the appetite, highly recommend, as it was very rich in flavor and had a pleasingly gooey texture. Would definitely stop here again.

even though I was not able to enjoy my takeout of norwegian organic salmon 20 minutes after it was cooked. still amazed by how tender and yummy it is! Great food.

My father and I went for lunch today. The service was great. Our server was Trinity and she was super nice and friendly. The decor has an old fashioned simple vibe to it which I prefer. Also tons of seating and a spacious parking lot. For lunch I ordered Thunderbird Sandwich which came with french fries. The chicken was cooked to perfection and there was nice balance between the bacon, chipotle mayo, and the chili peppers. Definitely would order it again. My father got the fish and chips with a baked potato instead of fries. He said everything was fantastic. Great portions and reasonable prices so I would most certainly come here again.
